Great For Events

We are great for family reunions, but we also offer romance packages and honeymoon suites for grown-up getaways. We are also minutes from the famous "1215" fishing area on Toledo Bend Lake, within an easy drive to see historic homes and sites in Natchitoches - as well as the Festival of Lights during the holiday season. There are grocery stores and restaurants within in minutes, as well as full kitchens in most of the accommodations, and an on-site grill during the day, in-season.

For information or to make reservations, call 800-341-3668 or 800-450-5103. On-site Managers are also available at 318-645-9215.

New Outdoor Deck

The beautiful new outdoor deck has also recently been added - perfect for an outdoor wedding or event! The outdoor deck can accommodate large functions and is ideally located - near the Conference Center and Pavilion. The surrounding grounds are gorgeously landscaped and near the banks of one of the many ponds. Please see the Weddings/Events Page for pictures and details.

History-
Toledo Bend Lake

Toledo Bend is the largest man-made body of water in the South, and the fifth largest in surface acres in the United States. From the dam site, the reservoir extends 65 miles upriver to Logansport, Louisiana, and inundates land in Sabine, Shelby, Panola, and Newton Counties in Texas, and Sabine and DeSoto Parishes in Louisiana. It was constructed for the purposes of water supply, hydroelectric power generation, and recreation. In all, the lake normally covers an area of 185,000 acres.
